I think the time has come to address the issue of why Muslim militants/jihadists not only terrorize and kill non-muslims but also kill Muslims.
In recent times, the have been an increasing number of Muslims who claim the Islamic State, Boko Haram and other terror groups are not Muslims simply because they also leave a trail of dead Muslims in their paths. They ask:
“If these groups were Muslims why will they kill their fellow Muslim Brothers and Sisters?”
Their question only sound valid until you realize that in Islam not every Muslim is “fellow” Muslim.
In the Quran, Muhammad the prophet of Islam was commanded to not only only fight and terrorize non Muslims but also THE HYPOCRITES.
“O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the HYPOCRITES and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.”
(At-Tawba 9:73)
So who are the hypocrites? According to the Quran, the hypocrites are Muslims who falters or deviates from certain aspects of Islam.
“Indeed, the HYPOCRITES [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,”
(An-Nisaa 4:142)
In today’s Islamic world, there are various divisions in the religion of Islam. And each sect or ideology sees the other sects as hypocrites. When one Muslim group attacks another group, it is actually one sect or ideology attacking another sect or ideology which they consider hypocrites or deviants.
24th November, 2017. One of the deadliest mosque attack occurred in Egypt. 311 Muslims were kill. That’s how the mainstream media reported it. But in actual fact, it was 311 SUFI Muslims KILLED. Sufism is considered one of the heretic sects in Islam…by Muslims who are not Sufis.
The attackers were the Islamic State (a Sunni Wahhabi brand of Islam).
Many attacks on mosques and Muslim gathering like this have occurred around the world. And these attacks can be trace back to Muhammad and the Qur’an.
Islam is supposedly the religion of peace, but it has known No peace since the time of Muhammad.
